About Us

Welcome to our quite, rural CL site. We have been established since November 2019.

Garth Farm is no longer a working farm, however we do have free roaming chickens and you may see the occasional piece of old farm machinery.

The site is owned by our family - Hannah runs the site, Mike is a full time Train Technician, Freddie (9) and Maisie (7) will be found around the site  making friends with everyone.

The site is located up a single track, directly onto a bridleway. It makes it an ideal place for dog walking and exploring without having to go far.

Our CL certificate is licensed by Freedom Camping Club. More information about them can be found above.

Nature Reserves

Due to our location away from any main roads and hidden away. We have the benefit of having 2 nature reserves off the bridle way that is directly out of the site. These can be tricky to find. The first is a 5 minute walk from the site and can be identified by a blue swirl on the gateway. This is Tofling Hill Nature Reserve. The second is Hollym Carrs Nature Reserve and is located further along the bridal way and is a 27 acre site  with an oasis of wildlife. Please visit their website for more information and directions on how to find them.

South Holderness Countryside Society

Withernsea

Nature Reserves

Our nearest seaside town in Withernsea. Here you can find a blue flag beach, plenty of cafes and places to eat. Along with the arcade and during the summer the seaside fair. The town has lots of giftshops and still holds a traditional seaside feel. Withernsea also has a fuel station, an Aldi and small Tesco.  It is about 2miles from the site and has a pathway into the town centre. If you decide to drive there are plenty of places to park. We would recommend the large council carpark behind Aldi (please search for The Pavillion on maps) there is no time limit and you do not have to pay parking charges. There is also a regular bus service from Hollym Village (the nearest bus stop is a 10 minute walk away).
